Why you'd want to live in Largo
Largo is the third largest city in Pinellas County but got its start as a rural farming community, exporting agricultural products such as citrus. In the 1960’s, the influx of people changed it into a bedroom community, and has become known as ‘The City of Progress’. Largo is rich in history, kept alive through their Cultural Park and Library. Close to the Intercostal Waterway, it is surrounded by Indian Rocks Beach, Belleair and Belleair Bluffs, Pinellas Park and Seminole. The unincorporated community of Ridgecrest forms a large enclave between western and central Largo, and a number of county enclaves pepper the City of Largo.
